NLF and ANBI
The ANBI status allows individuals, organisations and companies to donate to the NLF with a tax advantage. Also, the foundation does not have to pay tax on donations and inheritances.

Income
The NLF receives income from one-off donations and contributions from NLF partners. These are mainly organisations active in the aviation and/or aerospace sector. The NLF further generates income from existing assets in the form of interest received and results from the investment portfolio.
Expenditure
The NLF's main expenses consist of the prize money awarded each year, the organisation of the annual gala around the award ceremony and the organisation of other meetings. In addition, there are limited regular organisational costs. The NLF tries to limit these as much as possible.
Remuneration policy
Directors, policymakers and other volunteers receive no salary or remuneration for their work for the NLF. The foundation has no employees.
